Noah's Ark is open in Vlissingen, Houtkade.


The opening hours are:

Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00

On Sunday the ark is closed.

The Ark proved to be a unique experience for young and old. The Ark, in April 2007 opened its doors to the public, has may recieve more than 500.000 visitors in eleven different locations. After visits to other Rotterdam, Lelystad, Kampen, Amsterdam, Drachten, Sneek, Texel, and Zaandam  now it is Vlissingen! 

After half years of construction, Johan Huibers brought the ancient biblical story of Noah's Ark uniquely to life. On board of this replica (70 meter long, 9 1 / 2 meter wide and almost 14 meter high) is a simulation of the flood, life-size animals in cages and interesting information about the scientific side of the story of Noah and the flood.

But the Ark goes further than just the story of Noah. There are, on this wooden ship with four floors, various themes to admire. Nice films, depicted several biblical stories and scientific facts wich make a visit to the Ark worth!
